HFA girl's basketball team opens their season with a win!

The Lady Griffins opened their season with a sound win over the the ever-tough Home School team. Charging to a 8-0 lead to open the game, the Lady Griffins never looked back and stayed ahead for the entire game. The Home Schoolers closed the gap to within 2 points in the thrid quarter, but the HFA girls stormed back to finish out the game with a commanding 14 point lead, 36-22. A great deal of their success came from dominating the boards with rebounding by HFA's own version of "The Big Three" - Pauline Aluko, Cathleen Donohue and Kate Dennehy. Way to go girls!
