The HFA Griffins Soccer team opened the season with a wet game against SNHCC on Monday. The Griffins kept it close against the best team in our league the past few seasons, going into the second half tied 3-3 thanks to two goals by Max Syversen and a penaly kick by Nick Rennie. Unfortunately, Nashua pulled away in the second half, ending with a score of 8-3. Despite the loss, the Griffins played well and looked promising for the rest of the season to come.
