Mother Cabrini (1850-1917) dedicated her life to educating underserved immigrants and refugees to the United States. In 1877, She asked Pope Pius IX for permission to be a missionary in China, but his concern for Catholic immigrants in the New World inspired him to tell her, "Not to the East, but to the West."
Following Mother Cabrini's example, Holy Family Academy has opened its doors to the children of immigrants and refugees within our community with our Mother Cabrini Scholarships. This year we welcomed 8 students under this program. The cost to provide for the education and uniform for one of these students is $8,000.
Would you prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible contribution toward the Catholic education of these students?
