JV Lady Griffins Fall Just Short of a Win

Despite a late arrival and sluggish start, the JV Griffins team eventualy buckled down and came within one point with two minutes to play, but fouls and a tough, diciplined St. Joe's defense stiffled their efforts. The girls fell short by a single basket when the buzzer sounded to end the game. Despite the loss, notable efforts go to Maya B. for fantastic defense and 4 points (two 15 foot jump shots) off the bench and and Teresa M. and Pauline A. for their stamina, playing 90% of the game.
