For the 2015-2016 school year, HFA's St Vincent de Paul Society will be visiting the boys at the Pine Haven Center in Allenstown every first Tuesday of the month. The group will be interacting with the boys especially in games such as dodgeball, soccer, basketball, and any type of sport or game that they come up with! These boys desperately long for attention from people who care about them and are willing to give some of their time just to play with them. The St Vincent de Paul Society has chosen to visit and play with these needy boys as its biggest project because it such an amazing experience for both the boys and any HFAers (or outsiders) who attend and anyone who goes can obviously see the difference that they are making in each little boy's life by making his day, and helping to make their difficult lives a little bit more managable. Also, visiting the boys it is one of the more active and fun events that we do. We would love to have anyone who will join us at this event: parents, siblings, friends- anyone who wants to spread a little love to some of those who need it most! If you have any questions feel free to email either Maria Rennie or myself, or just ask us in person!
